POLICE BRUTALITY SOURCES AND THE DEATH OF RADIO RAHEEM:

Like the sources in my WAR ON DRUGS post, these will all be expanded on much more soon.

The next source doesn’t work on a Harvard reference generator for some reason so here is a link to the Mapping Police Violence website. It is an up to date site that contains statistics, information on victims and reports. I shall definitely be using this as it is a very useful source for wider context.

Here is the clip from Do The Right Thing in which Radio Raheem is killed by a police officer in a now illegal chokehold (not that that stopped them from doing it to Eric Garner) NOTE: Clip contains violence and explicit language.
